What to Expect
A few honest answers so your first class feels familiar before you even arrive.
Do I need to already be fit?
No. Every Back2Soccer class is built so fitness comes from playing, not from a warm-up test before you’re allowed to join. You set your own pace within the session.
Will I be the worst player there?
Classes marked Beginner Friendly welcome players who are brand new to soccer and players returning after years away, side by side. Classes are mixed ages and mixed genders, and players move around and play different positions rather than being locked into one role — check the skill level badge on any class before booking if you’re unsure.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable athletic clothing and a water bottle. Footwear depends on the surface at your session’s location — check the specific session page, which lists what to bring for that class.
What does a class actually look like?
Most classes follow a similar shape: a dynamic warm-up, ball work and technique, some agility or movement, and small-sided games to bring it together. The exact structure for each class is listed on its program page under “A typical session.”
Do I need to commit to a team or season?
No. You book the individual classes that work for your schedule — there’s no season-long sign-up required.
Will I meet people, or is it just training?
Both. Classes are mixed ages and skill levels, and many run on a recurring weekly schedule — so if you book the same day and time regularly, you’ll likely start recognizing familiar faces. It’s a training session first, but a natural way to meet people who share an interest in the game.
